A collection of our favourite testimonials from our pole dancing and burlesque classes
Pole dancing is really good fun, it tones you up, keeps you fit and it really doesn't matter what level of fitness you are when you start because there's something for everyone. The classes are totally relaxed and the Blush instructors are fantastic and really supportive. Its a good way to meet new people and have a laugh and the feeling you get when you master something you've been struggling with is just brilliant.
Pole Dance Student, Vicky Pearson, Sept 2008
I can't stand aerobics classes so thought pole dancing was a bit different to the 'norm'. Sound found it was great for toning, socialising, Sssooo much fun, and you are always motivated to push yourself that little bit further - at first just spinning on the pole seems strange...then next thing you know your upside down with one leg hanging off!
Pole Dance Student (and now Blush Dance Performer) Claire Harper, Sept 2008
Pole Dancing is far too much fun for me to coerce people into and I think that should speak for itself but if you like meeting great people, having lots of fun whilst doing an incredibly strenuous work out to some great music then this is the thing for you. If you have the perception it'll be full of modelesque beautiful snobby people who have no time then think again... don't get me wrong they're all gorgeous but you'll always feel welcome and it's amazing how quickly you can progress once you get the hang of it... before long you'll be swinging around the pole upside down! I Started pole dancing as I wanted some exercise that was a full body work out but more than anything was fun at the same time, trust me pole dancing is addictive!!
Pole Dance Student (and competitor) Ellen Coker, Sept 2008
I started Pole Classes because I am completely uncoordinated and rubbish at most types of dance which require coordination, but swinging round a pole, building up your stamina, and learning new moves which increase your strength, flexibility and dancing ability are great fun. Everyone should have a go because it is loads of fun, and fantastic to do with your girlfriends. Becky creates a completely relaxed environment where you can have a giggle, learn some moves and keep fit at the same time. It also gives you lots of confidence to strut your stuff!
Pole and Burlesque Dance Student Sue Ford Sept 2008
I started Pole Dancing because it burns more calories than other exercise, is lots more fun than going to the gym, gives you loads of confidence, improves posture and you can make loads of friends!!! I started attending classes a year ago to get fit and tone up and I got much more out of it!!!
